- How do I make a reservation?
The system has been designed to be user-friendly and intuitive. However, if you

will connect you to one of our experienced Customer Service Agents.
- What classes can I book in?
The system will automatically find the appropriate booking class for you, so there’s
no need to know or remember specific booking classes. Simply select the cabin in
which you want to book and the system will do the rest.
- How will I receive my tickets?
All bookings made through this system are e-ticketable. Your e-ticket details will
be emailed to you when issued.
- Which destinations are included / excluded?
All destinations on the British Airways route network are included (subject to your
profile permissions).
- Can I take my family and friends with me?
No. Bookings made under the ID50 agreement with British Airways must be for company
employees only.
- How do I make payment?
Payments can be made by credit / charge card only during the booking and ticketing
process. The credit / charge cards accepted are: American Express, Diners Club,
MasterCard and Visa
- Will my seat be confirmed?
Bookings are made as firm status. However, passenger’s using rebated travel may
be downgraded or offloaded if a flight becomes heavily booked. Firm travel is therefore
not guaranteed.
- Why can’t I travel in FIRST class on an ID50 fare?
Travel in FIRST class is excluded from the ID50 agreement. If you wish to travel
in FIRST the system will offer you published fares in the FIRST cabin.
- Can I have a ticket on departure (TOD)?
No. Ticket on departure is not permitted under the ID50 agreement. However, e-tickets
mean you have your ticket emailed to you before you depart for the airport.
- What will my baggage allowance be?
Baggage allowances vary depending on the cabin you are travelling in and the route.
Your allowance will be advised with your e-ticket confirmation.
- Will I be able to get a refund?
Yes. Refunds are processed back onto the same method of payment used to make the
booking and purchase the e-ticket.
- Are my credit / charge card details secure?
Yes. All personal data is held securely and card data is processed in line with
the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standards.
- Can I make changes to a booking, even if it has travelled?
Yes.ID50 fares are fully changeable and can be changed even if your booking contains
flown sectors (subject to availability and payment of any additional fares and taxes).
- What is the maximum validity of an ID50 ticket?
The maximum validity is 3 months from the first date of departure.
- Do my ID50 bookings qualify for BA Miles or Executive Club points?
No. ID50 fares do not attract BA Miles or Executive Club points. Published fares
do qualify
- How many ID50 bookings can I make?
There are no limits to the number of ID50 bookings you can make - unless advised
otherwise by your British Airways Account Manager.
- Is it possible to make waitlist bookings?
No. Waitlisting is not permitted under the ID50 agreement.
- Can I travel on a code share flight?
No. Code share flights are excluded from the ID50 agreement.
- Can I book an open ticket?
No. Open tickets are not permitted under the ID50 agreement. All flights and dates
must be booked.
- What do I take with me to the Airport?
You will need to be in possession of your British Airways booking locator and a
form of ID (i.e. proof of eligibility for example a staff ID card). Also, it is
your responsibility to ensure that you are holding the correct documentation for
your journey. Visa requirements change from country to country, and some countries
require that your passport be valid for a certain length of time after your planned
arrival. We cannot accept liability for any loss you may suffer because you are
not in possession of the correct travel documents.
- What are my check-in options?
We recommend that you check in online before travelling to your departure airport.
You can do this at
www.ba.com by quoting your booking reference and last name.
To check-in at one of the self service kiosks at the airport, you will need to be
in possession of the credit / charge card used to make and pay for your booking.
If you require extra assistance, or have excess baggage, you can check-in at the
airport.
- Can I use the system to book on airlines other than British Airways?
No. This system has been designed to feature British Airways services only.
- How do I contact you in an emergency?
We provide an online chat facility, which can be accessed by clicking on the Contact
Us link on the main menu bar. If we are shown as being offline, we have an emergency
telephone number, which is: +1 866 569 4992 . This telephone number is available
24/7.
- What constitutes an emergency?
